Ken started his DJ career in Junior High School, spinning 45's during lunchtime and at record hops. His first job on the air was at WINX-AM 1600 in late 1964. He was given his on-air name of "Ken Carpenter" by the WINX Program Director, Ron Starr, and has kept that nom de plume throughout his career. He was an early advocate of FM radio, and became the Music Director of WSEA-FM (Rehoboth Beach, DE) in 1969. His only television show was as host and executive producer of "Teletunes", a music video show broadcast on KBDI-TV in Denver, CO, in the early 80's. A highlight of his career was a two year stint on R&B oldies station WOL-AM, Washington, DC in the late 80's. He met his future wife, Luisa, while a DJ and Program Director of oldies station KTOB-AM (Petaluma, CA) in 1990. She called the station, and made a request; the rest is history.  Ken can be found on LinkedIn and Facebook.
